Welcome to The Ugly Room Transformation -Take 1- This room, which was my son's room for a bit, will be turning into our "Little Maine Coastal Room," or "Little Maine Room". The color on the walls will stay the same as it is a room transformation on a strict budget of basically putting my design on a dime skills to the TEST! Here we go....Open the door!
Here- nice cottage door, beautiful sage green walls, nice crisp white trim too...
The Dinosaur Country Plaid Couch that was free from my cousin and has seen much better days. We've had it for about 6 years. Eeegahds!
We changed all of the doors in our house and forgot one! Can you believe it?! The doors were all custom ordered! What can I do with this? I have some ideas! Can't wait! Next picture please...
Once I grab my Purdy paintbrushes there will be no stopping me on this trim! And more trim! It just keeps showing up!
It is a room with a view;) We live on a back road,
with Maine being only an hour and 45min. away!
So....
with images of Maine in my mind
And a handy husband
Our Little Maine Room has begun...Stay Tuned
;) Maine Dreams

Hope to see you there, Meme
I also used those doors in our home. I love them. So beautiful and architectural. But all our trim is antique white and our doors are a dark chocolate brown. The contrast is amazing. But when I see the doors all white, I love that too!
Your Atlantic Ocean looks really nice, and your landscape around it is way different than the west coast, ours is all rocky and stuff.
good luck on your room it will look fantastic!
